“Taking a new step, uttering a new word is what people fear most.” ~ Fyodor Dostoyevski

“Your blog quietly awaiteth,” a friend reminded me today. Yes, and I’ve been quietly pulling out my hair, desperate to lay certain projects to rest, that I might enjoy blogging again. But my eyes fell across Dostoyevski’s quote this afternoon. For a dead man, he sured nailed me on that one.

Calling all writers! Let’s take a new step…let’s utter a new word!

    Hi Vicki,

    Really love the new site!

    It is peaceful, restful and inviting and will be one that I visit often.

    Enjoyed the chat on Saturday. Paula sends her howdies to you also. Bill, her and I had a good visit at Starbucks.

    Blessings my friend,

    Writing for the King,

    Paul

    Paul, thanks for the note. Glad you find it inviting and warm–exactly the feel I hoped for. Stop by anytime!

    Vicki! What a beautiful site. I really love what you’re doing here. I’ll be sure to post a link … and come back when I can stay and check it all out thoroughly (I’m leaving for a women’s retreat in a few hours and haven’t packed yet :).

    Great job!

    Haven’t been to the old site, but the new one is warm and inviting, like chocolate.

    I appreciate this encouragement. I write when I’m not scurrying around filling the needs of my 6 homeschooled children or my hubby. Sometimes my insanity drives me crazy! :0)

    I’ve been questioning whether I should keep pushing myself, so your encouragement is timely for me.

    Shannon, thanks for making time to stop by. Hope you enjoyed the retreat! I so appreciated finding a note from you here. {{hugs}}

    Carmen, just now caught your note–thanks. Wow, you homeschool six kids? My hat’s off to you, and I’ll definitely pray for God’s leading and enablement for your writing. Thanks for visiting!
