A writer is dear and necessary for us only in the measure of which he reveals to us the inner workings of his very soul. ~ Leo Tolstoy
Moving out of cramped cerebral spaces, and more into the blogosphere. If you came to love me late, no problem:-) I’m a bit of a late bloomer anyhow, well into the youth of my old age. As Madeleine L’Engle said, “For growing up never ends…I am still in the process of growing up.” Light for the Writer’s Soul chronicles my growth as a writer who follows Christ. Call it my journey homeward. But the inner workings of my soul? Might be slightly revealing. Or cathartic. Either way, necessary.
If you love books, quotes, the power of the written word—this place is for you. Whether you’re a beginning writer, blogger, seasoned pro, or dreamer, your thoughts are welcome here. Bring your latte, bring your friends.
And bring a smile. Because here, the light is always on.

Vicki–This made me smile: “If you came to love me late….” I love the confidence in that phrase. It’s perfect.
Your site turned out perfect, too! I hope you and many readers enjoy hours of comraderie here–whether they’ve come to love you early, late, or in the infancy of your old age.

Katy, glad you like the new place. Your site (Fallible) speaks deeply to my heart, and I’ve long admired your unique design. About the confidence, I guess it’s coming along…only took me about 50 years to get this far…all in God’s good timing:-)
Do come again!
