I’m pleased to hear that AWSA (Advanced Writers & Speakers Association) selected Heather Gemmen for this year’s Strength of Choice Award, established by Allison Bottke in 2002.

Vicki, thanks for mentioning Heather’s award. Her book is an amazing story of faith and forgiveness. Heather is a remarkable lady, and honors God in so many ways. She was my editor a couple of years ago when I wrote the Secret Journals of Bible-Time Kids series for Cook, a set of four historical fiction books for kids ages 9-12. She’s an encourager and has such a feel for the written word. Her blog is an authentic snapshot of her walk with the Lord.
