The faith-writer trusts God for life, not just for writing.

“Immaturity considers the Lord Jesus as a helper. Maturity knows Him to be life itself,” writes Miles J. Stanford, in Principles for Spiritual Growth.

Something to ponder this Sunday.

Amen! So often we seek what He can do for us. With so many encouraging us to explore the gifts He has given to us (which are wonderful), we must be careful not to ignore the Giver of the gifts.

He wants to be our Helper, but we bless Him when we seek HIM just to be with Him. He is our source and true life is found in Him.
