Sometimes I don't recognize my "writing" after I obsess over the editing process. A few days ago, while editing a devotion I had written, for what was probably the umpteenth time.....I felt like the Lord was saying, "Was THAT what I spoke to you?" I don't guess even HE recognized it!!! :o) Editing is great, and obviously a MUST....but I have to be watchful that I don't lose myself and end up writing like someone else. I know it is a sign of my insecurity! God gave us our unique gift and wants us to be who we are. Thanks for the reminder! :o) Obsessive, compulsive editing….OH MY!
