“The beautiful part of writing is that you don’t have to get it right the first time, unlike, say, a brain surgeon.” ~Robert Cormier
When I start to take myself too seriously about writing, this quote manages to crack me up.
Happy New Year, ya’ll. Aren’t you glad we don’t have to get it right the first time? I love editing.

That quote does make me laugh, Vicki. However, I must admit that one of my greatest fears when writing is that something I put in print might be a stumbling block for someone else in their walk with Christ.
Happy New Year, Vicki! May your 2008 be filled with blessings!

Hey Patricia! Guess we temper that concern with trusting God to work through us as we stick close to Him through His Word. The quote, to me, mainly pointed out that we get to edit our work until it’s right, unlike the poor brain surgeon:-) Thanks for dropping by! Happy New Year!
