Excellent question. How HAS God called me to minister? First thought would bid me say, "through writing what He inspires in my soul" but that is not enough, I must be whole heartedly dedicated to Him so"through everything I do, may I honor You, Lord." Thank you for this poignant post, Vicki!
Yours,
Jo

Good post. I'm called to write whatever He puts on my heart, no matter the audience.

I have something for you.

With a husband who is a Creative Arts Pastor, this subject is near and dear to my heart. We think it a crime that so many artists aren't welcomed in churches. It seems like many people don't understand the depth that artists can add to church or are fearful of becoming too worldly. It's a hard line to walk, but we believe worth the effort to enhance the spiritual lives of believers. The arts make help us sense God's presence and experience the freshness of the Holy Spirit's touch. What do we miss out on if we stifle that?
