November Carnival of Christian Writers at Writer . . . Interrupted

Enjoy this month’s new entries at the Carnival of Christian Writers. Authors and agents “talk turkey” about the craft and call of writing and offer some seasonal insights. Enjoy!

Just received this from Carla Gade, coordinator of Christian Carnival of Writers:
“It’s time to talk turkey. What great advice can you offer during this month’s harvest at the Carnival of Christian Writers? Or perhaps you have been bountifully blessed as a writer. We’d love to share your blog post in this month’s carnival. Please send in your entry by Saturday, Nov.24th. We had a great response last month and hope to hear from you again!”

“A calling is simply God’s shaping of your burden and beckoning you to your service to him in the place and pursuit of his choosing. Finding your home in your service to Christ is key to noticing the threads designed just for you. It gives you that hand-in-glove sensation and provides the security of knowing that you are utilizing your gifts and your will to God’s ends first, not yours. When your will becomes aligned with God’s will, his calling upon you has found its home.”

Life is busy, full, and ever-fragile at times. So thankful for the loving mercies of God. Mr. G. is now home from Emory Hospital and starting his road to recovery. We would appreciate your ongoing prayers.
